There is a wonder in painting outside. When I translate what I see onto paper, I am depicting the atmosphere, my emotions, the time of day, and even the temperature. I was at the Muncie Reservoir one evening, painting the sunset, as I watched the sky change. I was totally absorbed. This showed in my painting when I got it finished. I liked it.
This is only one of my paintings from the summer and spring. My goal was to paint at all the Redtail Land Preserves. I painted at all of the ones in Muncie and some of them twice.
